Description
The sacred aromatics infused into FORTUNA have long been coveted for ceremonies and rituals. Frankincense has been used since ancient times as a religious offering; cedar for purifying and healing; sage for energy clearing; and hinoki for strengthening and connection. These grounding and protecting aromas elevate space into a place of calm and connection, with notes of resinous wood. Primary Ingredients

Cedar: A symbol of strength and revitalization. Used as a temple incense by Tibetan monks and in sweat lodge ceremonies by Native Americans.

Frankincense: Since antiquity, it has been burned in holy places. Holds the ability to slow down and deepen breath.

Hinoki: Used in Japanese Shinto ceremonies and purification rituals. Known to promote peace and attract prosperity.

Sage: Herba Sacra, considered a sacred heb since ancient Rome, clearing negative energy from spaces.

Cistus: Used as a love incense by Aphrodite and given the ability to heal wounds by the Greek gods.

8oz Botanical Candle, made of 100% vegetable wax, essential oils and absolutes with lead-free cotton wick. Hand poured in Portland in a recyclable glass vessel with embossed, earthen cast lid. Free of Synthetics, Phthalates, Paraffin and Palm Oils.

NOTE: When burning your Saint Olio Botanical Candle for the first time, allow the top layer of the wax to completely melt, which should take 2-3 hours. This will help prevent the wax from tunneling around the wick. When burning the candle after the first burn, do not allow it to burn for over 3 hours at a time.

Burning Instructions: Trim wick to 1/4 inch before lighting. Keep candle free of any foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings. Only burn the candle on a level, fire resistant surface. When candle has been 3/4 burned through, only burn candle for 2 hour intervals. Properly distinguish wick in safe manner, take precautions and store properly.
